We Need
FTC
VolunteerS!!

LEARN HOW TO GIVE BACK TO FUTURE ENGINEERS!

Why increase the number of FTC volunteers?
There is problem, and it must be solved. We cannot solve this problem alone. We need you!

It has always been a struggle to find willing volunteers for FIRST Robotics competitions. Over the past few years we have noticed that either volunteers are overbooked or event coordinators are scrambling to fill positions the night before competition. Previously people have tried to address this problem by talking to professionals, but the quota of volunteers is still not met.

What is the volunteer table?
The purpose of the volunteer table is to provide an overview on volunteering for FTC, explain the roles and provide a behind the scenes tour and talk to some of the volunteers, to get a deeper understanding of the impact of volunteering.  Also, to increase the pool of volunteers by making them more comfortable with the process.

What is required?

We need approximately 3-5 people from FTC teams who have competed previously at FTC tournaments to staff a volunteer table throughout the day at tournaments.  We would like the staffers to sign-up volunteers for upcoming tournaments and provide tours to potential volunteers. At the volunteer table, the staffers will tell people about volunteering at competitions and show them brochures that will be supplied for you. You will also show them a volunteer video that will be supplied for you on a laptop that you bring.
